Saint Lucia

8 days 64 species 16 lifers View on eBird

Saint Lucia is a small island in the Caribbean with 6 endemic species (found nowhere else in the world). I was able to get all the endemics, plus some other lifers, most of the unique to the Lesser Antilles. It has some spectacular scenery with mountains rising to over 3000 feet.

Not one of my best shots, but an endemic species nonetheless.

This picture is not exceptional by any means, but it represents one of the most range restricted endemics in Saint Lucia, only accessible from a couple spots in the northeast of the island.
